24 May 2026 18:00 PM BSTBig day, small explanation. 007 First Light is almost here, the launch info is scattered across a hundred sites, and you've got better things to do. Here is the kid-friendly version.
Two start times, not one.
The first one is for people who pre-ordered. They get in on Tuesday, May 26. Everyone else waits until Wednesday, May 27. Same hour on the clock, one day apart. Simple.

The big moment lands at 14:00 UTC. Picture one giant button somewhere in IO Interactive's Copenhagen office. At 2pm London time, the button gets pressed, and the world hears the click.
Here is what shows up on your local clock:
- Los Angeles: 7:00 AM
- New York: 10:00 AM
- United Kingdom: 3:00 PM
- Germany: 4:00 PM
- India: 7:30 PM
- Japan: 11:00 PM
- Sydney (AEST): 12:00 AM, next morning
- Auckland (NZST): 2:00 AM, next morning
For the public launch on May 27, add 24 hours to each of those. Same hour, next day. The full regional table sits on IO Interactive's official 007 First Light X account, alongside a live countdown to refresh while you panic.

Pre-orders get the goodie bag
Pre-ordered? Nice work, here is your pile of stuff.
- 24 hours of early access
- 4 special outfits for Bond (Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, Gentleman Operator)
- One weapon skin called Agent's Mark
- The Gleaming Pack, a set of four gold-plated gadgets (a lighter, earphones, a dart gun, a pen)
You are getting the Deluxe Edition bonuses without paying Deluxe Edition money. Pre-order any digital version of the game and the upgrade applies on its own. Physical disc buyers miss the early access window, so heads up if you're waiting on a box in the post.
Preload, in baby words
The game is big. Your internet is slow. So the bits and pieces of the game arrive early, and the box is full before the door opens.
Preload starts 48 hours before the global launch moment. Set the download going, walk away, come back later, ready.
The New Zealand trick will not work this time
You know how some people stay up late by changing the clocks? Players have been pulling the console version of this for years, switching their PlayStation or Xbox to New Zealand so the system thinks midnight has arrived sooner, then waltzing into new games half a day early.
Not happening here. IO has built a single global switch. Everyone walks through the same door at the same moment, no matter what your console pretends.
Platforms
PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 are all in the launch family, though Switch 2 owners should keep an eye on IO's channels for their specific timing. If you've got one of those under the telly, you're sorted.
Bond goes live on Tuesday if you paid early, Wednesday if you did not. Same hour on the clock, one day apart. Preload if you've got the game, set an alarm if you don't.
