19 March 2026 17:00 PM12,060 pieces. Let that sink in for a second.
A new leak from the Brick Tap community's most trusted insider, Chief Wiggum, points to LEGO releasing the biggest set in the company's history this summer. The set in question? A LEGO Architecture model of Barcelona's iconic Sagrada Família basilica, numbered 21065.
The leak surfaced on 17 March, shared across Reddit and Instagram, and it lines up neatly with separate Brick Tap reporting from January 2026 that had already hinted at a record-breaking Architecture set on the horizon. Chief Wiggum is the same source who recently revealed the purported details of LEGO's first Pokémon set with minifigures, so the track record here is solid.
Worth noting, of course: none of this is official yet. LEGO hasn't confirmed a thing.
What the leak says
According to Chief Wiggum, 21065 Sagrada Família is slated to launch on 1 July 2026, priced at $599.99 in the United States. At 12,060 pieces, it would beat the current record holder, the LEGO Art World Map (31203), by 365 pieces. That set has held the top spot since 2021, surviving challenges from the 10,001-piece Eiffel Tower and the 9,090-piece Titanic.
Here's where everything currently stands, and where 21065 would land:
| # | Set | Pieces | Set No. | Theme | MSRP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sagrada Família (leaked) | 12,060 | 21065 | Architecture | $599.99 |

| 4 | Titanic | 9,090 | 10294 | Icons | $679.99 |

| 6 | Death Star | 9,023 | 75419 | Star Wars | $999.99 |
| 7 | Millennium Falcon | 7,541 | 75192 | Star Wars | $849.99 |
| 8 | Venusaur, Charizard & Blastoise | 6,838 | 72153 | Pokémon | $649.99 |
| 9 | AT-AT | 6,785 | 75313 | Star Wars | $849.99 |

An Architecture set... but not as we know it
The Architecture theme categorisation is a bit of a head-scratcher at first glance. LEGO Architecture has historically been the home of compact, display-ready skyline sets and modest landmark builds. The largest the theme has gone previously is the 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris at 4,383 pieces. A 12,060-piece release would be nearly three times that size, placing it firmly in the territory of LEGO's biggest collector showcases.
That said, the Sagrada Família is arguably the most architecturally complex building on the planet. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, the basilica is a maze of organic shapes, intricate facades, and towering spires, none of which repeat or mirror each other in the way most structures do. It's the kind of subject that almost demands a massive piece count just to do it any justice at all.
The timing makes sense
2026 is Gaudí Year. It marks the 100th anniversary of the architect's death, and the basilica's central Tower of Jesus Christ has just reached its full external height of 172.5 metres. The main structure is projected to be complete this year, after nearly 145 years of construction. LEGO dropping its biggest ever set to commemorate that milestone, right as the building finally nears completion, is the sort of timing you couldn't script better if you tried.

At $599.99, the set would sit at a competitive price per piece ratio for a build of this scale, though given the sheer density of the Sagrada Família's real-world detailing, fans are already speculating the build will involve a huge number of small, fiddly elements. Whether LEGO pulls off the organic curvature of Gaudí's vision in brick form will be the real test.
No official images have surfaced yet. If the 1 July release date holds, an announcement from LEGO likely isn't far off.
