Logitech G923 Racing Wheel Plunges 37% to £239 Days Before Forza Horizon 6

The G923 has shed a fat chunk of its sticker price right when sim racing fans want a wheel most. Logitech's mainstream force feedback wheel sits at £239 across major UK retailers, down from a £379.99 RRP. A 37% saving, give or take a penny.

If you've been racing on a pad and squinting at lap times wondering what you're missing, this is the prod you've been waiting for.

What £239 buys you

The G923 occupies the sensible middle of Logitech's racing wheel lineup. Above sits the £1,000-plus G Pro direct drive monster. Below... not a lot worth bothering with from the same brand.

TrueForce is the headline tech. Logitech's haptic system reads game audio and physics data at 4,000Hz, then pipes engine harmonics, road texture and tyre slip straight into your palms. Far richer feedback than the ageing Driving Force tech you get on the older G29 and G920.

Where the wheel earns its keep

Forza Horizon 6 lands Tuesday on PC and Xbox, with PS5 owners waiting a touch longer for their copy. Arcade racers don't punish controller players, so wheel support in Horizon is more about immersion than survival. Looks gorgeous, drives fine on a pad.

Where a wheel like the G923 properly sings? Sim racing.

Both Le Mans Ultimate and iRacing lean hard on detailed force feedback to communicate grip levels, weight transfer and tyre temperature mid-corner. Without a wheel you're driving half blind, leaning on visual and audio cues alone. TrueForce won't match a direct drive base for raw torque, mind you, but the fidelity is honest enough to feel cold rubber go from greasy to grippy as the laps tick by.
